Here is just a bit of info for all the BAE Systems graduates and placement students. First of all well done on achieving a placement with BAE. We try to offer a special service for you guys to make it as easy as possible to re-locate to Barrow-in-Furness whether its houses to rent in Barrow or Ulverston property. BAE's Graduate scheme is now one of the best in the country and we are happy to assist them in making your placement successful and enjoyable. Cost wise instead of ₤130.00 pounds application fee we only charge ₤50 pounds (inc. vat) each to apply for a house, this way whether you are staying on your own or with colleagues the cost is reduced. We also have fast track application just for Bae graduates which make it's possible to get you moved in within 72hrs at no extra cost (dependant on landlords decision)
If you are coming to the area it is likely that Martin or Nigel will have given you details of a buddy who will also offer help and advice on starting with BAE. We can also help with this if need be providing information on local amenities popular residential areas etc, don't be shy of calling asking about things other than our houses.
If you are travelling up to look at a few places with us we are happy to collect you from Barrow train station or Bae and chauffeur you around to look at any properties you may have seen. Rents advertised can sometimes be negotiated in your favour but this simply depends on each individual landlord and property.
For those sharing a house each tenantcan pay us individually via a standing order, we also have Martin's and Nigel's details for an employers reference when you apply although we cannot give this out.
