Once you have found a house or a flat that you like you will need to apply for a tenancy with us. This involves us doing various checks with your employer, previous landlord and credit reference agencies.

Simply download a form here or pick up an application form from our office. Fill out all the various boxes (you are very welcome to do this in the office with a cup of tea or coffee) and pay the application fee. The more accurate and completely you fill in the form the quicker it will be processed, we cannot hold a property until we have the form filled in and the fee has been paid.

Unlike some agents we will not allow anyone else to apply whilst your application is processed so you do not have to worry about losing the property you want. The best thing you can do is ensure everyone who you have as a reference sends the details back to us as soon as possible. Do not bring previously written references in as these are of no use to us.

If you have any queries during this process Daryn (daryn@pclettings.com) will be happy to help you. We can sometimes fast track your application but this can only be done in some circumstances and with the landlords consent.

As a tenant you have many rights under the law and therefore we have to be implicitly certain that you will pay the rent in full on time and look after the house, therefore the checks we do are necessary and important.

Please note any personal information is held in the very strictest confidence and any material we no longer need, that you do not require will be shredded and disposed of (we use a specialist company for this)
